Illinois Municipal League Community Champion Award 2026

Representative Anthony DeLuca was recently recognized with the Community Champion Award during the “A Statehouse Briefing with Legislators” session at the Illinois Municipal League Chicago Conference.

The Community Champion Award recognizes a legislator whose public service has strengthened Illinois communities through leadership and a strong commitment to local government.

This recognition reflects Representative DeLuca’s ongoing work on behalf of the 80th District and the South Suburbs, working with municipalities and local leaders to address community needs and support initiatives that benefit residents.

Representative DeLuca was also recognized for his commitment to the South Suburbs. In 2022, the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association recognized him as the Champion of the Southland.

Representative DeLuca is honored to receive theses recognitions and remains committed to serving the communities he represents.
