End of 2020 Message
Dear Constituent,
As 2020 comes to an end and I reflect, one thing I know for certain is that during these unprecedented times, most people came together collectively to help others in their community. My focus was the same. Ensuring essential services continued un interrupted, and providing needed resources for the residents in our community who were severely effected by COVID-19 and the economic crises.
Normally my year is filled with community events throughout the entire year. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we had to cancel quite a few events. Thankfully, after being able to take safety precautions and follow guidelines we were able to participate in some fantastic events, such as the Chicago Heights Park District Back to School, The 80th District Fall Cleaning event, Secretary of State Mobile event, Drive-up Flu Shot Clinic, Chicago Heights Park District Trunk and Treat and Lastly My Education Advisory Council held a S.A.F.E Fall event that included a Trunk and Treat, raffles and a ton of Giveaways.
To the left are some photos and I hope you enjoy seeing them. It was wonderful to bring some normalcy to the community and its children.
Sincerely,
