COVID-19 Testing

I’ve had many conversations regarding the lack of access to COVID-19 tests in communities of color.

After legislator’s expressed concern to the Governor’s office over the shortage of testing in the South Suburbs, Illinois has expanded testing in communities of color.

A state-run suburban drive-through testing center is open and operating in Markham.  The testing center is running hundreds of tests per day with results coming back to patients faster than federally-contracted labs.  This testing site in the south suburbs welcomes those who may be low-income, uninsured or underinsured.

The testing is at a former multi-lane Environmental Protection Agency Emission Testing Facility.  Persons remain inside their vehicle when tested.  The address is: 3824 West 159th Place, Markham.

Please go to my Anthony DeLuca Government Official Facebook page HERE for regular COVID-19 updates and information.
