News from State Rep Anthony DeLuca

Dear Friend,

As we approach the end of 2017 and prepare to welcome the New Year, let us embrace another opportunity to begin a new chapter in our life.  All of us are ending this year having learned valuable lessons, let’s start 2018 by showing that we have learned these lessons well.  I would like to express a heartfelt thank you for your continued support.  These have been difficult times in Illinois government and I appreciate and offer my thanks to you for participating in the process and for standing by me.  As we look ahead, I remain optimistic for the south suburban region and for the State of Illinois.  While we certainly have strong headwinds challenging us, my goal of improving the condition and the quality of life in Illinois must be achieved.  You have my commitment to work towards long-term solutions and be willing to make the difficult decisions that must be made.

I’m proud my district office has continued to provide responsive and professional constituent services for another year.  We have also continued our community involvement by hosting numerous free community events throughout the district such as the Veterans’ Appreciation Picnic, Annual Clergy Breakfast, Community Document Shred day, Wheelchair Basketball  Challenge, Women’s Self Defense Seminar along with several Senior information fairs.  We are already planning new events for 2018 and information will be forthcoming.

Each year I look forward and appreciate invitations to attend community events throughout my district.  School activities, site visits, grand openings, veteran’s events, job fairs, senior fairs, and parades.  I look forward to joining you at more events in 2018.

Thank you again! I am grateful for your help and support. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday.   I wish you and your families a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year.
