News from State Rep Anthony DeLuca

Dear valued constituent,

As the Illinois General Assembly prepares for next week’s start of the 2020 legislative session, my focus will be on the issues most important to our communities. As your voice in Springfield, I’ll be strong and effective fighting for the issues important to our region.

I’ll also be working with a new partner representing our communities this session. 40th District State Senator Patrick Joyce is hitting the ground running. We’ve participated in a number of meetings and forums and are working in conjunction on several important pieces of legislation. We must do all we can to improve the quality of life in our region.

As we look ahead, I’ll work closely with Senator Joyce on local and regional issues impacting us.

Some of our priorities are:

Property Tax Relief
Job-Creating Initiatives
South Suburban Airport
Illiana Expressway
Quality Drinking Water
Servicing Veterans
Funding Our Schools
Protecting Seniors & Low Income
Protecting Our Environment
Supporting First Responders
Restoring Municipal State Funding
Decreasing Truck Traffic on Local Roads
Mitigate Neighborhood Flooding
Funding Developmentally Disabled
